1. When Refunds Are Possible
1.1 Failure to Deliver on Time
Refunds are possible ONLY if we do not deliver the agreed-upon services or products within the specified timeline.
Conditions for time-based refunds:
- The delay must be solely attributable to Amie Technology and Robotics
- Client-caused delays do not qualify for refunds
- Force majeure events are excluded from this provision
- The delivery timeline must be clearly documented in the project agreement
2. When Refunds Are NOT Possible
Refunds are NOT possible in the following cases:
- Change of Mind: If you decide you no longer need the service after work has begun
- Budget Constraints: If you experience financial difficulties after project commencement
- Scope Changes: If you want to change project requirements significantly
- Quality Disputes: If the deliverables meet the agreed specifications but you're unsatisfied with subjective aspects
- Completed Work: For any work that has been completed and delivered as per specifications
- Third-Party Issues: Problems caused by third-party services or your infrastructure
- Communication Delays: If project delays are due to your late responses or feedback
- Partial Work: For work already completed in milestone-based projects
3. Refund Process
If you believe you qualify for a refund based on our failure to deliver on time:
- Submit Written Request: Send a detailed refund request to refunds@amierobotics.com within 7 days of the missed deadline
- Provide Documentation: Include project agreement, timeline commitments, and evidence of the delay
- Review Period: Allow up to 15 business days for our team to review your request
- Resolution: We will either provide the refund or offer an alternative resolution
4. Refund Amount Calculation
When a refund is approved:
- For projects not started: 100% of paid amount minus any processing fees
- For partially completed projects: Prorated based on incomplete work only
- Non-refundable expenses (third-party licenses, hosting, etc.) are excluded
- Setup fees and initial consultations are non-refundable
5. Payment Terms and Suspension
5.1 Late Payment Consequences
Important: If clients do not pay within the agreed timeframe:
- A suspension fee will be applicable as specified in your agreement
- Services will be suspended until full payment is received
- Project timelines will be adjusted based on the suspension period
- No refunds will be provided for delays caused by payment suspension
Timely payments are crucial for maintaining project schedules and avoiding additional fees.
6. Alternatives to Refunds
Instead of refunds, we may offer:
- Service credits for future projects
- Additional features or services at no extra cost
- Extended support periods
- Priority handling for future requests
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes regarding refunds shall be first addressed through good faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Guwahati, Assam, India, as specified in our Terms of Service.
8. Policy Modifications
Amie Technology and Robotics reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will not apply retroactively to existing projects.
